Cynthia Alayo serves as the Director of Finance for CBPS, bringing over 15+ years of extensive experience in finance, management, and operations.

Daamin X Durden, Served as Executive Director of the Newark Community Street Team since 2020- March 2024. Bro Daamin (as he is affectionately called, is a Newark native committed to ending the cycle of violence and trauma in that city.

Rebecca is the administrative coordinator for the Los Angeles Peer-to-Peer Learning Academy. Rebecca identifies as system-impacted and has worked with formerly incarcerated folks in the RISING program at Santa Monica College and the UCLA Prison Education Program.

disadvantaged populations to the Community Based Public Safety Collective as a
Project Manager.

Aqeela Sherrills is a spirit-centered organizer and activist who has worked for three decades to promote community ownership of public safety and facilitate healing from violence in marginalized communities.
