About the event
This relationship building approach includes 5 key steps:
Capitol Hill visit with members of congress and staff (in person or zoom call)
Local visit where you go to the Congressional member's local office and meet with them or their staff
Inviting a Member of Congress or congressional staff to your site to see and discuss what you do
Meeting with your local City elected officials
Meeting with your local City staff (the ones who handle funds and grants that may be applicable to what you are doing)
